Tasks and duties

• Responsible for running the day to day operational activities of the department.
• To manage the processing, control and shipment of all sales orders, the product purchasing functions and all related warehouse transport and forwarding activities
• Management of both finished goods and parts inventory ,inventory records and data in accordance with the company guidelines
• Manage and oversee an adequate and timely quote and order processing all within the regulations and in compliance with the company directives.
• Management of all production related activities, ensuring timely completion and delivery with the highest Quality standards
• Ensure effective and efficient communication, both internal and external, is established for inventory and sales order related transactions, enquires and records
• Develop and implement operational strategies with the purpose of improvement of product deliveries with most cost effective and best possible service level.
• Developing the business by analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing all key aspects of IGT product configuration, pricing, quote, sales order, production, contract management, regulations, PGI, shipping and delivery with specific impact on overall efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction for all related order processing and logistics activities
• Supports and has shared accountability for achieving the financial and operational goals (order processing timelines, accuracy and efficiency) of the entity managed
• Control and coordinate employee applicable training and required certifications
• Conducting performance reviews, participating in setting performance goals and providing immediate performance feedback to staff managed
• Correct and timely execution of the assigned tasks of the entity managed
• Maintain contact with forwarders and the internal organization for applicable transport inquires, status, quotes and orders.
• Manage maintainance and entering of relevant and required master information in the database per the company guidelines and requirements for efficient and effective logistics operations
• Leads and manages reporting on various operational metrics to facilitate communication with other related departments and identify opportunities for increased efficiency
• Manages employee expectations and leads in initiating and implementing improvements in the work environment to increase employee satisfaction
• Translates operating goals into processes and assignments for the entity managed ensures that these processes are fully coordinated with related departments
• Required Qualifications
• Good working knowledge of MS office tools is required
• Advanced level of knowledge required for general gaming industry products,customer service and basic knowledge on transportation requirements
• MBO level
• Sharing of knowledge and information on functional level, in order to establish and maintain an efficient and broad logistics workforce.
• Propose for possible process improvements in order to increase efficiency and services.
• Excellent communication skills
• Service minded
• Grade 12

Preferred Qualifications

General:

• Excellent cross functional communication and consensus building skills are required
• Fluent written and spoken English is required
• Service minded and commercial attitude is required

In depth knowledge of/skills in the content areas of

• Machines and products
• SAP experience incl relevant SD tools
• MS office
• Reading and interpreting regulatory and technical documentation
• IGT sales order/production operations/products and workflows
• In depth knowledge of general gaming industry and compliance regulations.
• 5-7 years experience in sales order management
• Sharing of knowledge and information on functional level, in order to establish and maintain an efficient and broad logistics workforce.
• Propose and implement possible process improvements in order to increase efficiency and services.
• Special requirements needed Pass a background check
• Credit check required
• Able to obtain a Gaming License
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Effectively manage the logistics department and provide solid customer service to all external as well as internal customers to support revenue objectives
• Development, implementation and optimization of Logistics management, organization and policy, to achieve just in time product deliveries within the best possible cost and service levels.
• Adequate and efficient inventory management practices ,in line with the company guidelines and requirements, to support the revenue and inventory targets
