    Accounts Manager

    Job description

    Permanent, full-time based in Bury

    £20,000 £22,000 per annum

    SNAP SHOT: We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take responsibility for the maintenance of the accounts and invoicing within an estate agency. The successful candidate will be someone who has exceptional attention to detail, works methodically with excellent communication skills. You will be a candidate who is self-motivated and able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

    SALARY: £20,000-£22,000 per annum

    REPORTING TO: Managing Director & External Accountant

    Key Responsabilities

    • Managing the accounts to trial balance
    • Inputting, coding and processing invoices on a daily basis
    • Prepare month end payment runs according to company standards and in line with internal controls
    • Ensure key accounts are managed appropriately as priority (rent, landlords, tenants) in order to minimise impacts of late payment
    • Build solid landlord, tenant and supplier relationships
    • Supplier statement reconciliation and control, good maintenance of aged accounts
    • Process expenses in line with company policy and submit to payroll
    • Assist in intercompany account reconciliation
    • Assist with legal issues in conjunction with the managing director
    • Assist with fleet management and fleet insurance
