    IBP & Strategy Leader (73810)

    About the role

    • This role goes beyond traditional IBP ownership. It combines end-to-end integrated planning, strategy execution, business performance management and transformation governance, with significant exposure to senior leadership.
    • The IBP framework is already established. The challenge is embedding it, building organisational discipline and making sure it delivers real business value.
    • You will be the custodian of the process, connecting strategic priorities with commercial realities and operational execution, and helping the business move from reactive firefighting to predictable, integrated performance.
    • You will connect demand, supply and financial plans, challenge cross-functional assumptions, improve decision-making and translate business priorities into measurable results.

    Key responsibilities

    • Lead the implementation and embedding of an end-to-end IBP framework across the business
    • Drive process discipline, governance and continuous improvement across the five IBP processes
    • Connect strategic planning with commercial, financial and operational decision-making
    • Influence senior stakeholders and challenge established ways of working to improve cross-functional collaboration
    • Lead behavioural change and build accountability across functions, often through influence rather than direct authority
    • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, planning tools and the use of data
    • Help shift the business from reactive firefighting towards more predictable, integrated performance
    • Build a culture of continuous improvement, resilience and forward-looking decision-making

    Requirements

    • Proven FMCG experience, ideally in a complex, retail-facing environment
    • Demonstrable experience implementing IBP or leading a substantial planning transformation
    • Strong understanding of the full IBP framework and its five core processes, beyond traditional S&OP
    • Strategic mindset, with an understanding of business strategy, commercial planning and end-to-end value chain integration
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders
    • Track record of driving change, shifting behaviours and embedding sustainable processes
    • Experience improving planning processes, systems and operational effectiveness
    • Resilience, adaptability, energy and the courage to lead through ambiguity

Candidates must be able to give examples of implementing and improving an end-to-end IBP process, and of working beyond the planning cycle to connect strategy, financial performance, cross-functional decisions and transformation delivery.
