Manage the day-to-day activities associated with marketing efforts, including project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, campaign tracking and reporting as necessary
Implement and track marketing plans for a specific area
Contribute to consistent and continuous market share growth /objectives through marketing activities
Track the effectiveness of campaigns for identified customer segments and report on success measurements as required
Collaborate with third party agencies to develop creative campaigns
Work with other functions to ensure effective implementation of marketing plan and objectives
Provide administrative support for key congresses, meetings, agency communication, customer interface and other suppliers
Brand management
Develop and execute brand strategies through new product launches and promotional activity
Work closely with all relevant Media departments to integrate media mix plans.
Develop brand identities and related positioning, targeting and messaging
Implement the marketing plan related to brand performance and in order to meet volume and profit projections
Improve Market share
Ensure consistent and continuous market share growth /objectives through key marketing strategies
Develop optimal customer segmentation processes
Consistently improve customer experience
Interface with marketing teams to support adequate messaging and communication within the SA region.
Relationships management
Management of third party agencies
Identify and manage KOL relationships as well as key accounts
Field work with representatives and key customers
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships
Delivery Revenue & profitability
Support the achievement of revenue targets as signed off in MRP
Launch of new brands as per the MRP
Audit & Compliance
Ensure that business under control is meeting desired compliance levels.
Support the Quality Management system with the set-up of SOPs, alignment of SOPs and implementation
Qualifications
Relevant Marketing/Commercial/Medical Science Degree or equivalent
3- 5+ years Brand/ Product Management/ Management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
