    Personal Assistant to CEO

    Job description

    This is an office-based position, at our Durbanville offices.     Purpose of the Role:

    Ensure the professional management of an Executive’s dairy, day to day activities, client liaison.

    Essentials required from the successful candidate:

    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be flexible and adaptable.
    • Must have the ability to think on his/her feet.
    • Must understand and appreciate the organisational value chain as well as the value of teams.
    • Must appreciate the value of applying oneself in any and all situations related to the work environment.
    • Must have excellent organisational skills – the role is fast paced with many responsibilities. It is essential to remain organised. Must have the ability to do rigorous planning by relying on effective time management so that tasks and responsibilities are handled in a professional manner.
    • Must be a strong influencer with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be required to build and manage relationships with individuals on all levels within organisations.
    • Must have the ability to make sound judgement calls. The successful candidate must have the ability to anticipate or recognise challenges and refer them to the right person immediately to be resolved promptly.
    • Must be a natural problem solver.
    • Must have the ability to manage conflict well.
    • Must understand the big picture and how all the parts fit together.
    • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.
    • The successful candidate must have at least three years’ experience in a similar role or level of management.
