Overview:

The successful candidate will have at least 3 to 4 years of practical experience in Business Intelligence, with exposure to source data Analysis, data warehouse design & build, report building and visualization. Candidates should hold a tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in an Information Systems and Analysis related field.

This BI Analyst will be responsible for eliciting the needs and requirements of stakeholders, analyse and synthesize information from various sources, as well as provide technical support in the development and delivery of valuable Business Intelligence solutions.

Successful candidates must be willing to travel in and around Gauteng and be adaptable to the changing environments involved in the consulting field.

Candidates must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• Degree relating to computer science, information technology and/or informatics
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in business intelligence analysis and/or development
• Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and presentation)
• Strong technical experience and understanding as per requirements below:
• Visual Studio 2010
• Business Intelligence Studio
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL Queries
• Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Integration Services (SSIS)
• Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau or similar tool
• Excel Pivot tables
• Data warehousing
• Data Analysis
• Data Modelling
• SDLC
