An exciting opportunity for a Senior Functional (SD) Consultant role available in Pretoria

Must have done at least 5 implementations.

10+ years experience

Task: The existing template solution for International Invoicing will be rolled out to additional markets. Each Rollout takes about 12 months from requirements definition until Go Live.

Delivery activities:

• Understand Template
• Understand Business Requirements
• Validate and document requirements against Template to be presented to headquarter for decision
• Check dependencies of the requested changes and align with Maintenance Application Manager
• Align with Functional Consultants and Developers of the team and the maintenance team.
• Assure quality of Design, take responsibility for all design work
• Create/check Test cases
• Support with Go Live preparation and support during Go Live (could be on weekends, late evenings)
• Ensure implementation according to timeline
• Develop solution and prepare for User Acceptance Test
• Ensure Transition into line
• Ensure availability during Go Live (Weekend) and Hypercare phase
• Ensure proper documentation (Design, Technical documents)
• Follow ITPM approach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.
• Strong Presentation skills.
• Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases, they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.
• Ability to work as part of a team, inter-dependent as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.

• Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).
