Position Purpose and Profile

The Communications Manager will compile and oversee the implementation of all communications in line with the brand and strategy to position the organization as the industry body that inspires a built environment in which people and planet thrive.

Reports to

• Chief Executive Officer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and execute brand communications across the organisation
• Implement the roll-out of relevant media and communication plans as needed for various business needs
• Select and ensure the relevant channels, distribution and fitting messages and topics are communicated to the market
• Management of various forms of social media
• Liaise with Membership Manger on relevant communications to members.
• Tracking and reporting on communications
• Media management and monitoring
• Ensure consistent brand execution across all platforms
• Manage the quality of hard copy and digital brand collateral

• Relevant press coverage achieved
• Positive brand perception
• Increased brand presence
• Positive customer engagement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• A passion for the "green" environment
• Creative writing and editing skills
• Articulate communication skills
• Relevant media contacts
• Excellent knowledge of social media platform

Relevant tertiary qualification

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience in property industry preferred
