Job description

This role will be responsible for developing appropriate talent acquisition strategies and managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process to deliver agreed targets for roles within assigned business areas, ensuring that the right candidates are recruited, at the right time, at the right price. Partnering with the business, the role holder will provide both consultative and transactional talent acquisition support to deliver a comprehensive and value added service, covering the all employed worker (internal and external) local and cross border hires and transfers, ensuring all talent acquisition activity is aligned to and effectively communicates the employer brand.

Minimum Requirements for this position:

• University graduate in HRM or related disciplines
• At least 2-5 years of experience with strong focus on recruitment
• High levels of business acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and well networked across the sector
• Ability to lead, influence and drive and execute multiple projects in tighten deadline
• Knowledge in social media platforms and recruitment channels
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
• Self-motivated, driven, highly independent and able to work with minimal supervision
• Someone with high ambition and potential to develop your long term career at Hilti
• Ability to influence people at different levels with/without direct authority

Your Responsibilities:

Main duties:

• Lead company’s talent acquisition strategy and development programs to support our sustainable business and profitable growth
• Manage the talent acquisition process and all relevant recruitment administrative activities, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, etc.,
• Pro-actively build up a potential candidate pool by leveraging industry networks, effective use of social media, job boards, etc.,
• Build and further strengthen the relationship with designated universities through participating various events like job fair, career development programs, social events, company presentations to students etc.,
• Work closely with marketing as well as regional and global HR team to strengthen our brand and awareness in the market
• Other ad-hoc projects within HR spectrum as assigned (e.g. Top Employers, Outperformer)
• Optimizing talent acquisition expertise and leveraging talent acquisition best practice models, tools, and vendors
• Developing Bench marking strategies and implementing best practices
• Leveraging existing technologies and tools to drive process efficiencies and improvements
• Leveraging direct channels strategy for sourcing to ensure that recruitment costs are always minimized
• Identifying knowledge, skills, and abilities of ideal candidates
• Enhancing relationships with Team leaders by providing consultative advice and influencing outcomes
• Delivering high-quality recruiting results based on established metrics
• Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends that will impact service deliverables and leverage research tools and resources to recommend actions to address
• Leading a comprehensive internal and external talent acquisition strategy across multiple locations and geographies
• Managing, training, coaching and mentoring a recruiting team across multiple locations (agency induction / support)
• Evaluating the structure, processes, and tools needed within the talent acquisition function in order to meet aggressive and timely hiring priorities for hiring needs (bench recruiting)
• Implementing efficient, scalable, consistent, and effective talent acquisition processes and technologies which support the company’s continued growth and key business priorities
• Communicating talent acquisition strategies to key stakeholders and other leaders within the company in a manner that positions the talent acquisition team as trusted advisors to the business
• Driving the development of the Company’s brand and develop strategies and tactics to effectively manage the brand both internally and externally (partnering with Marketing team)
• Accountability for the compliance with relevant legislation concerning all phases of the recruitment process. Ensure appropriate controls, documentation, and record keeping for audit purposes
• Enhancing the interviewing and selection skills for the company’s managers
• Identifying opportunities to develop and implement cost effective improvements that drive more operational efficiency and effectiveness, and develop appropriate business case and ROI to support proposed recommendations
• Compiling, analyzing and utilizing data relating to recruiting, performance and retention to identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures
• Preparation of accurate reports on sourcing and selection for management teams on a monthly basis.
• Ensure proper employee onboarding process for new starters on a monthly basis.
