    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATIONS

    • Completed HR/IR degree/diploma
    • Post-graduate qualification Matric

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5 years working as ER Specialist
    • HR systems
    • Legislation
    • CCMA exposure and case management with proven track record of represented and defended cases essential

    • Industrial Relations
      • IR Support & Advice
      • Identify and/or evaluate causes of conflict and propose appropriate corrective action
      • Represent the company at the CCMA in Conciliations and Arbitrations
      • Manage and deliver IR- related training, including Chairpersons training
      • Provide support to management and staff in managing performance and assist in the analysis of plans to resolve any identified performance problems.
      • Monitor the labour relations practices of HR to the business
      • Monitor developments within the labour relations field and advise on best labour relations practices
      • Provides advice to HR managers and Officers and line managers in respect of procedural and substantive fairness issues
      • IR Reporting
      • Implement and maintain a comprehensive IR administration system.
      • Ensure accuracy and currency of all IR-related information
      • Reports on IR Activity throughout the organization
      • Monitor internal labour relations trends and submit relevant reports
      • Remain apprised of all changes or relevant news, and provide analysis and report on same.

      • ICAS - Management of all ICAS management referrals and co-ordination of feedback
      • Co-ordination of Wellness Day - Employee Engagement Drive and Timeous Communication and execution of Wellness Days
      • Management of Provident Fund and Life Benefit Communication
    • Employment Equity Monitoring and
      • Implementation
      • Co-ordinate EE process, i.e. organizing meetings, liaising with external consultants, attend and participate in EE
      • National Forum meetings with all other related administrative matters
      • Track EE conformance, i.e. polices, plans, procedures and practices
      • Flag and report non-compliance
      • Assist with facilitating workshops on policy and plan
      • Organizing of EE general information on the intranet
      • Research and benchmark EE best practices
    • Health & Safety
      • Management of the Health and Safety compliance and Audit Reports actioned on
      • Management of H&S Register and that all representatives are trained and legislative training is complied with
