A well-established, rapidly expanding manufacturer and supplier to the food industry, based in Epping Industrial, is looking for an energetic and ambitious Events Marketing Coordinator (junior to mid position) to take over the current position.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and working within a small dedicated team, part of your duties will include planning, sourcing, securing, budgeting and hosting various size events. You will also be managing the branded merchandise and need to be confident in stock control, invoicing and recon. In addition, you will be responsible for receipting in and dispatching marketing material. There is minimal admin work but you must be willing to do adhoc jobs when required.

No day is the same and a flexible nature is required. Solutions-driven, task-orientated and great time management will make you a shining star.

• An excellent communicator with the ability to read and write in English. (Afrikaans beneficial)

Requirements

• Matric, with minimum two (2) year experience in a Marketing Department or similar.
• Events Management diploma (desirable). Brand or Marketing Management diploma (beneficial)
• Advanced Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Code 08 driver’s license.
• Advantage: Working knowledge of Syspro

There is minimal travel required and mostly office working hours. However there are a few occasions where due to nature of role, you will be required to host event outside regular hours.
