    Provincial Senior Manager:Retail Tied Sales and Distribution Channels

    Job description

    Main Purpose

    The purpose of the role is to execute on Provincial Retail Tied Sales & Service Channel strategy and drive sales & Service distribution network that efficiently and effectively delivers all Alexander Forbes retail products & service to Provincial customers and target market.

     This will include the achievement of product sales targets and service standards and the delivery of an excellent, consistent customer experience across all products & services at the lowest possible cost, in line with a ‘serve-to-sell’ culture.

    The role will also be responsible for executing & reporting on the initiatives provided by Executive: Sales and Service Execution and to achieve these outcomes in alignment to the Retail Cluster vision and growth strategies and right-sizing of capacity across the channel.

    This role leads and directs provincial Tied channel and strong leadership is required to motivate and inspire the teams to achieve outstanding results.

    The role has an official seat on the Provincial Sales and Service Distribution Channel Manco and represents the Tied sales & service channel.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Driving profitable sales volume & service of all Retail products through Provincial Tied sales channel
    • Achieve an excellent, consistent customer experience across channel and implement a culture of ‘serve to sell’ while team is selling & servicing in line with Customer Satisfaction Index & Net Promoter Score Benchmarking
    • Implement Provincial Tied multi-year and annual sales & service distribution, plans and budgets in alignment with the Retail Cluster business as usual and growth strategies
    • Ensure the daily outcomes aligned to an integrated sales and service distribution channel capability – people, culture, standards and processes.
    • Appropriately skilling and adequately resourcing the Provincial Tied Sales and Service team
    • Accountable for maintaining, updating and reporting of the lead management process
    • Monitor & assist in the reduction of branch errors through training, information sharing and mentorship
    • Monitor and ensure that underwriting principles and guidelines are adhered to
    • Monitor that discounts are being appropriately allocated
    • Monitor churn ratios to support growth and productivity and assist consultants where necessary
    • Monitor cancellations in line with company policy and procedures
    • Manage overall staff engagement and performance
    • Delivery of protecting existing business and lead cross-selling of all Retail Products
    • Ensuring that the client relationships are maintained and developed
    • Collate provincial specific retail Tied sales & service information and compile relevant reports to respective stakeholders
    • Effectively represent the Tied sales distribution internal and external stakeholders in specific province in conjunction with the PE
    • Collaborate with and support RSSD channels in delivery of customer access strategy
    • Ensure daily effective risk management and governance of the retail sales and service distribution area, including compliance standards and all necessary reporting to the PE.

    Compentencies

    • More than 6 years experience
    • NQF 6 (in financial services industry)
    • RE exams completed
    • Must be Fais compliant
