Academic Au Pair | Rispark | R16 000 - R18 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Rispark
• Child’s Age: Boy – 9 years (Grade 3), Girl – 14 years (Grade 9)
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: Born at 26 weeks old, has a few developmental delays (haptic learner – movement to learn). Delayed and auditory processing. Grade 3 is a high support learner
• Support Style: Attends OT and Speech Therapy. Attends swimming lessons once a week, trainer for gross motor skills twice a week (home based)
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 14:00
• School holiday hours: Same/similar hours
• Duties: Collect daughter from school on ad hoc basis, main focus on 9 year old and his needs. Son is a high support learner. Duties would entail going over his curriculum, ensuring he is completing his work and answering any questions he may have, incorporating movement into his school day as he learns best this way. Going over any areas he may not understand, identifying his unique learning style and structuring lessons around this. Take him to therapies and extra murals throughout the day to ensure movement is incorporated into his routine. Preparing snacks and meals.
• Special Requirements: Someone who is firm, non-smoker. Someone with energy and enthusiasm.

• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R16 000 – R18 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS Rates per km (Depending on experience and qualifications)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
