Accountant (3 Months FTC) at RCL Foods

• RCL FOODS is on a Hunt for a Accountant (FTC) to join the Group Services Division. The role will be based in Westville and the role is to support the central Finance team with corporate accounting, year-end and tax responsibilities.
• This role is a 3 month contract. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Newly Qualified CA(SA)
• Excel and word and skills
• Experience with consolidations and preparation of AFS or with auditing consolidations and financial statement disclosures

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Assistance with preparation for the year-end financial audit. 
• Assistance with provisional tax computations for operating subsidiaries of the Group.
• Preparation of year end income tax and deferred tax computation, and associated disclosures for operating subsidiaries of the Group.
• Managing audit queries relating to tax computations with external auditors.
• Preparation of financial statements for Group and Statutory requirements.
• Technical research and preparation of accounting treatment memorandums
• Assistance with month-end responsibilities, including reporting, reconciliations, review of the ledger and consideration of journal entries
• Completion of schedules related to the Company’s year-end requirements
• Build conducive working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
• Ad hoc finance responsibilities
