Accounts Payable Clerk - Germiston at Komatsu Mining

Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

• Processing accounts and outgoing payment in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
• Checks creditors age analyses, ensuring supporting documentation is verified and attached to purchase orders;
• Accurately capturing invoices in SAP to effect payments on time to all Creditors;
• Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts statements;
• Preparing creditors reconciliation and payment proposal;
• Preparing accruals and processing journals at month end;
• Ensuring that invoices are properly authorized;
• Attends to client/vendor queries and complaints; and files all documentation; and
• Participate in different projects when required.

Minimum Skills required

• Relevant Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate  is required;
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience working in an accounting environment;
• Understanding of  bookkeeping and accounts payable principles,
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite or related software; and
• Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
