Actuarial Operations Analyst - 6 months contract

Position Overview

RGA is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join the Operations team to create and maintain offline premium models. The Actuarial Operations Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining the existing management information system for the Underwriting department.

Responsibilities

• Create new offline premium models in Excel or Access (using VBA) for reinsurance premium verification.
• Maintain existing premium models.
• Quantify financial impact of data issues.
• Train team members on products and premium calculation methods being used by the clients.
• Setting up databases for new Clients and modifying existing databases that will be used for data analysis.
• Create new reports for Underwriting System
• Maintain existing management information reports for the Underwriting - department

Requirements

• Actuarial Science Degree with good progress on CT exams.
• At least 2 years’ work experience in a retail life insurance, reinsurance or a similar environment.
• Advanced VBA Skills.
• MS Office experience including Access and advanced Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy & passion for data.
• Strong Mathematical Ability.
• Written and Verbal communication skills.
• SQL skills are advantageous
