Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy essential (Ms Word, Excel and Outlook) organisational, planning and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of an Asset Management environment and financial systems of the Government.
Knowledge on matters related to Financial Administration (including legislation and policy documents, i.e PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and Provincial Instructions). Appropriate knowledge of relevant financial prescripts, departmental policies, delegations and procedures.
Good communications and writing skills. Appropriate knowledge and practical experience in ESL and Electronic Procurement Solutions (EPS).
