- Sustained accredited research output (in local and international journals and books/ book chapters)
- Experience in postgraduate supervision at Honours, Masters and Doctoral level
Minimum requirements for Associate Professor
- Applicable PhD/DEd degree
- At least 4 years' teaching experience at the tertiary level
- Experience in blended/online teaching
- Sustained accredited research output (in local and international journals and books/ book chapters)
- Experience in postgraduate supervision at Honours, Masters and Doctoral level

- Well-developed scholarship of teaching and learning

Recommendations:
- Experience in leading research and/or educational psychology development projects
- Experience in securing research funding
- Collaboration with leading scholars in the field of educational psychology
- Experience in the development and delivery of on-line and short learning programmes will be a strong recommendation
- Registered as an Educational Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Job Purpose:
- To oversee the effective operational support of all activities relating to the Programme, collaborate closely with the management team and the Academic Director to provide a professional environment where students will be provided with the training and support required to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of the Programme in collaboration with senior management, ensuring compliance with academic regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate all programme activities in line with delivery guidelines to ensure high-quality service.
- Monitor student engagement, progress and performance, escalating concerns and implementing interventions where necessary.
- Manage admissions processes, student communication and serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current students.
- Deliver effective student and staff induction processes, including LMS orientation, registration support and scheduling of programme activities.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day programme operations, including managing timetables, events, workshops, seminars and doctoral research conferences.
- Act as an ambassador for the programme, positioning the School as a premier for academics, entrepreneurs and business leaders.
- Maintain accurate student records, marks, evaluations and business intelligence data in line with university policies.
- Oversee financial administration including billing, budgeting, bursary management and payments to service providers.
- Provide academic and assessment support by liaising with Lecturers, Examiners and academic leadership to ensure quality assurance.
- Manage, lead and develop staff within the programme area, ensuring high performance, service quality and compliance with HR processes.
- Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory and institutional policies across all programme operations.
Minimum requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) with preference in Social Sciences, Psychology, Business Management or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a professional services environment, preferably in adult learning, consulting, or hospitality and events management.
- Sound understanding of the higher education sector.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) or Virtual Learning Environment (preferably Blackboard).
- Experience in academic administration or strong administrative, project management and coordination experience.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment process, corrective action and follow up
- Co-ordination of Legal training needs as per the OHS Act and Regulations and general training
- Ensure implementation of standards and policies
- Contractor safety
- Conduct investigations of all incidents as per section 24 and ensure appropriate SHE practices
- Co-ordinate waste management on campus
- Safety coordinating of Events
- Co-ordinate emergency procedures
- Off campus privately own student accommodation safety inspections
Minimum requirements
- Degree (NQF 7) in safety management or relevant qualification dealing with fire related risks, gas safety, emergency preparedness
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety
- 3 to 5 years’ experience dealing with injury on duty is essential
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in auditing legal compliance is essential
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
