    Job Description

    • To conduct accreditation, advocate, monitor, and implement quality assurance and compliance for quality partners, skills development providers, and assessment centres linked to the QCTO. 

    Key functions:  

    • Facilitate the Quality Partner, Skills Development Provider and Assessment Centre accreditation and or monitoring processes 
    • Conduct quality assurance site visits

    • 6 years collective relevant industry experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory level.
    • Trade certificate will be an added advantage.

    Job Description

    • The successful candidate will be responsible to provide services to people, deliver and collect documents and packages.

    Key functions: 

    • Collect and chauffeur visitors, internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collect and chauffeur QCTO Council members.
    • Inspect and maintain pre-trip and after-trip inspections.
    • Compile monthly vehicle inspection report.

    Job Requirements

    • Manage the processing of applications and evaluate products relating to new development /realignment/ review and maintenance of occupational qualifications, part-qualifications, and skills programmes.     Job Requirements

    • Specific artisanal qualification (trade qualification) in a technical or engineering field plus a supervisory or management qualification at NQF level 7 as recognised by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
    • A minimum of eight (8) years of collective experience in a technical or engineering field of which four (4) years must be at a supervisory level.
    • Driver’s License, at Least Code B.
    • Must have experience in curriculum development or training in the Engineering sector as it applies to the Post School Education and Training (PSET) environment.

    Job Description

    • The successful candidate will be responsible to administer certification and verification processes in order to issue certificates for learner achievements and verify certificates, qualifications and learner results for qualifications on the Occupational Qualifications  

    Key functions:

    • Maintain and enhance the learner certification processes
    • Process learner achievement data on Certification Systems

    Deputy Director: Assessment Assurance

    Job Description

    • To advocate, monitor, Implement and manage assessment standards implemented by QCTO stakeholders, and quality assure final assessment outcomes
    • Support the Director: Assessment Assurance in managing the QCTO’s assessment mandate.
    • Develop/review policies/procedures for assessments, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
    • Provide administrative support and maintain records for the Assessment Assurance domain.
