Job Description

We are looking for candidates with a strong accounting and finance background who can demonstrate a mix of accounting expertise, operational finance, project management, and client relationship experience and skills.

Your responsibilities:

• General Internal controls and finance
• Being a core member of a team to deliver outstanding service to clients across a variety of accounting advisory projects, including transaction accounting, GAAP conversions, accounting assist and with our operational finance teams.
•  Supporting client management on the implementation and application of accounting standards and accounting.
• Working as part of a team, reporting to managers and senior consultants to achieve the best results for all our clients.   

Qualifications

The candidate should have / demonstrate the following:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Commerce with internal audit
• 2-3 years in a client facing role.
• 2-3 years Internal audit or finance role or SAICA articles
• Broad experience in accounting, risk management, business process and controls advisory.

Desired Experience

The candidate should have / demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the accounting and/or Internal audit methodologies and its application in major client industries.
• Demonstrated experience in report writing

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A passion for delivering high quality projects
• Proven ability to work effectively in Microsoft office, specifically MSTeams, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work virtually
• Proactive attitude
• Experience of working in an audit or finance advisory capacity is preferable however for the right candidate, experience of working as a finance business partner or in a line role will be considered
• The ability to present client data in a clear and concise format
