    After Hours Ward Administration Officer

    The Nephrology Department are looking for an After Hours Ward Administration Officer to join their team. Nephrology is the branch of medicine that specialises in kidneys and their diseases. The Metro South Integrated Nephrology and Transplant Service (MINTS) is the only super-specialist kidney service in Queensland providing world class treatment in the management of kidney disease. The team provides comprehensive, equitable, diagnostic and therapeutic evidence-based care aimed at improving the health and well-being of people with kidney disease.

    About The Role

    • To respond to general customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate service delivery within the Hospital environment.
    • Respond to general reception enquiries in the department by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support patients and staff and assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.
    • Monitor nonclinical supplies and order stock as well as monitoring repairs and maintenance of office equipment in the department.
    • As the primary contact on the ward, assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.
