Essential Skills Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket/GitHub
• Proficiency in Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform/Ansible Tower
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
• Expertise in Unix and Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like Terraform
• Experience with mounting technologies Autofs and DFS
• Knowledge of storage and networking technologies (NFS, CIFS, SSH, DNS, NTP)
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Bash, Python, and Perl
• Additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of IT operations experience
• Minimum 3 years of configuration management and automation experience
• Strong experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Automation Platform (or Ansible Tower/AWX)
• Experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES) and Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub) and IaC technologies (Terraform)
• ITIL certification and any Scrum certification advantageous
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles in a secure environment
• Manage Ansible Automation Platform objects and assist with workload migrations
• Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and Azure, ensuring compliance and security
• Create and manage IaC with Terraform, track user stories in Jira, and collaborate on GitHub
• Forecast and plan resources, infrastructure, and licenses for the team
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to operational standards
• Maintain documentation and coordinate external contractors
• Manage security vulnerabilities and participate in problem, incident, and change processes
