Minimum Required Qualification:

• Trade Certificate -Certified competent as electrician
• English liretarate ( speak ,read and write )
• Drivers licence

The Appointee should:

• One year experience in a related role
• Must be familiar with risk assessment procedures
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area

Advantageous Qualifications:

• Experience in the concentrator or plant environment
• Completed MV training

Additional Requirements:

• Medically fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Must be able to do standby and overtime
• Valid driver's licence

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend and conduct safety meetings
• Conduct and participate in risk assessment
• Allocate task to surbordinates
• Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required
• Ensure that material , spares and equipment are available as required
• Ensure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinates
• Comply to environmental requirements
• Exercise judgment with regards to replacement of components
• Maintains a high quality of work
• Provide information in a timely and accurate manner
• Record results of all legal examinations in the appropriate formant
• Work in a sequence that prioritieses work requirements
• Assist in establishing programs to minimise unplanned downtime on critical equipment
• Participate in failure analysis techniques for cross functional teams
• To ensure that preventtive actions are implemented to ensure effective maintenance programs
• Assist with any other additional ad-hoc engineering task/projects as required
• Participate in new equipment specifications
