Asset Management Consultant - Mining at MECS (Pty) Ltd

Deliver the following asset management services:

•  Site audits and maintenance assessments;
•  Capability plant analysis;
•  Condition monitoring plan and KPIs identification;
•  Business Process Mapping;
•  Preventive Maintenance Optimisation support;
•  Maintenance system and processes guidance;
• Asset Management policy generation;
• Plant/equipment hierarchy development;
• Plant/equipment criticality analysis;
• Equipment functional failure identification and analysis;
• Maintenance strategy development/optimisation;
• Bill of Materials (BOM);
• Spares analysis;
• Life cycle analysis;
• Total Costs of Ownership;
• End of life and economic life plans.

Exposure and experience within MINING MINERALS - PLANT AND EQUIPMENT

• Failure Models, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
• Experience in the field of equipment reliability, machinery or process troubleshooting, plant or process start-up, equipment or system maintenance
• Exposure to Computerised Maintenance Management Systems/EAM systems e.g. SAP, Maximo, Oracle
• Demonstrated competency in report writing and group presentation skills.
• Strong team player / develop new skills - ability to master in house software.
• Must be a good communicator with tech degree: B.Tech Mech Eng or B.Sc Mech Eng
• Min 5 years experience with large plant / production environment.
