Description

• Assisting in maintaining company records and statutory registers.
• Prepare and distribute board meeting agendas, minutes, action items and resolutions.
• Handling filing with regulatory bodies like CIPC.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing of resolutions.
• Assist with review of standard legal agreements.
• Manage and co-ordinate annual board meeting calendar.
• Manage executive directors’ diaries.
• Managing directors travel arrangements and accommodation.
• Attend to internal information requests.
• Ensure adherence to internal group governance structures.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in corporate governance or legal role or limited experience and LLB
• Experience with CIPC and Bizportal non-negotiable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams non-negotiable.
• Strong writing skills non-negotiable.
• General understanding of King IV and corporate law.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Secretaries/Governance is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills
