Matric. Degree (NQF 7) that allows registration as a Radiographer with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as recognised by SAQA. Current registration with HPCSA as a Radiographer.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years appropriate/recognizable experience in supervisory level after registration with the HPCSA as Radiographer, of which 5 years should be on supervisory level.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of the philosophy underpinning practice in radiography.
Knowledge of pathological processes and their imaging appearance.
Knowledge of Computer Tomography ( CT), Fluoroscopy and/or MRI will be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of public service legislations, policies and procedures. Sound knowledge of Radiation Protection.
Sound knowledge of Diagnostic Radiography practice and ethos.
Sound knowledge Diagnostic Radiography equipment policies and protocols.
Good communication, computer literacy and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety prescripts.
