Au Pair | Uitzicht | R7 735 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Child’s Age: Boy – 15 years
• Child’s Neurodivergent Snapshot: ADHD (medicated). Thrives with structure, consistency, and clear expectations and boundaries. Loves sport, particularly rugby, loves playing the drums, he does music lessons once per week, enjoys being active
• Working hours: Monday 15:15 – 17:30, Tuesday 15:15 – 17:30, Wednesday 16:00 – 17:30, Thursday 15:15 – 19:00, Friday 13:00 – 16:00
• School holiday hours: Same/similar, although additional hours / morning hours may occasionally be required and will be discussed and compensated separately
• Duties: Collect from school, transport to and from extracurricular activities (drums, rugby training and related activities), assist with and supervise homework and study preparation, support assignment planning, organisation and time management, encourage positive study habits and academic accountability, provide general after-school supervision and support, occasional weekend assistance by prior arrangement, maintain proactive communication with parents
• Special Requirements: Comfortable transporting a teenager to and from school and activities, experience working with teenagers and/or neurodiverse children advantageous, strong communication and organisational skills, friendly, calm, patient and understanding personality, punctual and dependable
• Start Date and Contract Term: August 2026 – permanent
• Salary: R7 735 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS Rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
