Boilermaker at Sibanye-Stillwater

Minimum Required Qualification:

• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults) with English Literacy.

The Appointee should:

• N2 Platers Theory.
• N2 Platers & Structural Steel Drawing.
• Section 13 or 26D (completed learnership / apprenticeship) Boilermaker Trade Certificate as recognised by the QTCO.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a qualified Boilermaker Aide / Apprentice / Artisan within a mining/plant environment.
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Fork Lift and Mobile Crane driver’s licence will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, Installations and ConstructionAdhere to equipment maintenance, installation and construction of work place facilities to standards and specifications.All maintenance, installations and constructions to be inspected and checked for quality purposes.Safe, correct and effective application of equipment and machinery utilised during duties.Adherence to maintenance schedules.Attending to mechanical breakdowns.Escalation of unresolved breakdowns or unsuccessful maintenance, installation and constructions.Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
