    Brand Campaign Manager

    This exciting opportunity exists in our Online Shopping Division in Cape Town. We are looking for Brand Campaign Manager to manage our relationships with brand manufacturers in order to grow our revenue by selling campaigns, media, activations and partnerships. You will be working in a young, independent Marketing team for an on-demand app for one of SA’s largest retailers and most loved brands.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree or Diploma in BA
    • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
    • Ability to draft together comprehensive and insightful briefs, campaign pitches, post campaign analysis
    • Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite)
    • Previous experience within e-commerce / on-demand industry advantageous
    • Previous experience within FMCG and / or retail environment advantageous
    • Previous experience within Digital Advertising advantageous

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Build new and nurture existing relationships with the biggest FMCG Brands in SA in order to help drive their e-commerce strategy via our on-demand app.
    • Manage the delivery and set income targets for groups of clients.
    • Campaign Pitching: Managing a pipeline of campaign activity from meeting clients, preparing pitches and locking campaigns, while tracking revenue against targets.

    Campaign Execution:

    • Communication: scheduling and preparing all campaign and communication elements, ensuring we execute as per our commitment to brands, while also achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
    • Marketing & Product: leading the marketing and product team to flawlessly plan, execute and take down campaigns on the app / portal.

    Campaign Reporting:

    • Weekly campaign tracking versus projection and budget.
    • Post Campaign Analysis: detailed analysis and presentation, presented to client as an additional way to pitch for new campaigns.
    • Developing a ROI model by client is key to the long-term success of our campaign monetization.
    • Overall delivery of client briefs through active team management and distribution of workload.
    • Manage day-to-day activity relating to the client account.

    Managing a Team:

    • Managing resources: building and overseeing workplans, training, growth and development, reviews and career path trajectory.
    • Data Analysis: working closely with the data science team to use our wealth of data to pitch, execute, report and improve campaigns and app shop-ability.
    • Team / Project Management: leading several teams towards aligned goals / shared projects, and delivering through others. E.g. Marketing and Product.
