Budget Officer (Internal/External Advert) at uPhongolo Local Municipality

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12, National Diploma/ Postgraduate Diploma/ Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting/ Management Accounting or equivalent qualification. 
• Possession of CPMD/MFMP Certificate will be added as an advantage. 
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in Budget and Reporting environment in local Government. 
• Valid driver's License.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• To prepare and administrate municipal budget according municipal cycle. 
• Coordinate departmental budget into municipal budget. 
• Monitor and implement virement of budget votes. 
• Prepare monthly reports and returns according to National Treasury requirements and template. 
• Ensure compliance with MBRR and MFMA.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. 
• Perform all task mandated by the immediate Supervisor.
