RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established building contractor in Cape Town is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join their construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day site operations
Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
Monitoring construction progress and ensuring project deadlines are achieved
Ensuring quality standards and safety compliance on site
Liaising with clients, consultants, and professional teams
Managing site reporting, inspections, and site administration
Assisting with cost control and procurement coordination
Requirements:
National Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Site Agent within the building construction industry
Proven experience on commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects
Strong knowledge of site management, programming, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and health & safety
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Good communication and leadership skills
Must currently be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas
