Business Analyst - Cape Town at Network Recruitment

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• This position reports to the General Manager of Retail and New Business Development 
• Provide value adding business analysis and recommendations of product performance, sales & profit trends, marketing and other business operations
• Ensure sustainable performance is achieved by growing existing business and growth through new opportunities
• Make recommendations on product pricing strategies in order to grow market share
• Identify and optimise potential profit opportunities within the business
• Analyse e-commerce and digital marketing performance to ensure sales performance and efficient marketing spend in collaboration with the marketing team
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyse New business development opportunities and determine feasibility thereof
• Financial planning
• Strategic planning 
• Compiling and maintaining budgets
• Stakeholder relationship management
• Financial Modelling

Education:

• Degree 

Job Experience:

• Financial background 
• 3 to 5 years within a retail environment within a financial/analytical role
• Ability to build models 
• Retail, FMCG industry experience preferred 
• Understanding competitor behaviour and ability to analyse them
• Business strategies and business objectives
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures
• Power-BI
