    Business Data And Reporting Analyst - Cape Town

    DATA ANALYSIS and QUALITY ASSURANCE

    • Collect, validate, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights
    • Utilize statistical methods and data analysis techniques to interpret complex datasets.
    • Implement and maintain data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and analyses.
    • Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies.
    • Provide proactive insights into potential opportunities or risks based on data analysis.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.

    COLLABORATION and CONSISTENCY

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, planning, and operations, to gather data and insights.
    • Work closely with business users across the brands to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.
    • Ensure consistency across the group with regards to processes and data interpretation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business reporting requirements.
    • Translate business needs into technical specifications for the development of reports and analytical solutions.

    SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

    • Be involved in the end-to-end process of identifying, evaluating, and implementing technology solutions that address business challenges.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment.

    REPORTING AND VISUALISATION

    • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics for use by business.
    • Ensure that reporting tools provide relevant and accurate information to support business decision-making processes.

    PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
    • Regularly assess and report on the performance of business solutions, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
