    Business Development Representative - Solar & Energy Solutions

    • You’re a natural business developer with a technical edge, experienced in energy storage and solar systems. You’re highly motivated, love working with people, and know how to present solutions that resonate with customers’ needs. Your strong relationship-building skills and ability to manage multiple accounts make you the go-to expert in your field.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You’ll be managing and expanding relationships with key clients in automotive, trucking, mining, and energy sectors, while also identifying fresh opportunities in solar and energy storage within the Western Cape. Day-to-day, you’ll support your clients with tailored energy solutions, guiding them through proposals and product evaluations, and delivering polished presentations that showcase the unique value of your company’s offerings. This role keeps you close to the customer, ensuring seamless implementation and high service levels at every stage of the sales cycle, from orders through to payment. You’ll also be instrumental in relaying customer feedback to internal teams, helping shape future services and offerings.

    What you’ll need

    • A diploma in sales, marketing, or business development, along with 6+ years’ experience in business development or sales within energy, solar, or automotive sectors.
    • You’ll bring a strong technical understanding of solar and energy storage solutions, paired with excellent presentation and negotiation skills, project management abilities, and a keen eye for nurturing business relationships.
    • Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and organisational skills will be essential in this client-focused role.
