Business Development Support Specialist at Lulalend

OVERALL PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to support the Business Development team with the operational tasks required to successfully support our Partner and Affiliate functions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will work across internal departments and engage with external stakeholders to solve problems and acquire customers. You will be a driving force in helping Lulalend quickly scale.

Responsibilities will include

• Running day-to-day sales and operational activities for Lulalend's partner products to trouble-shoot application and sales process issues
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations in a proactive and innovative manner
• Providing first line customer support with expert knowledge on product information
• Contact clients to gather all the necessary information/documentation for the application to proceed to the next phase of the assessment
• Creating applications for our aggregators
• Monitoring - ensuring product processes are running as expected

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Matric with Math (preferred)
• Preferably 3 to 6 months of experience in a client-facing role
• Finance industry experience would be an advantageous
• Previous work experience in a startup (desirable)
• Diploma or Certificate in Finance (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills (particularly written)
