Support senior team members in executing financial audits, including understanding client systems, processes, and risks, and conducting testing procedures.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Participate in client meetings and present findings and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct research to stay up-to-date with emerging accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and diagnose clients' business challenges, propose solutions, and support the implementation of recommended strategies.
Develop strong relationships with clients, responding to their queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of work performed and assist in the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
Participate in professional development activities, including training sessions, workshops, and seminars, to continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Demonstrate commitment to ethical standards, professional conduct, and confidentiality, adhering to internal policies and external regulations.
Contribute to the overall success of the firm by actively engaging in team activities and fostering a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
Strong academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Enrolled in a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and exercise sound judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software and tools is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
High ethical standards, integrity, and discretion, ensuring confidentiality of client and company information.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
