    Career Services & Corporate Relations Specialist

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • As a Career Services & Corporate Relations Specialist at HyperionDev, you need to provide employability support, skills development, project work and job opportunities to our graduate developers within our customer base. You also need to actively grow and manage the local and international database of employer partner companies by pitching the HyperionDev Career Services and marketing our developer graduates across our current and prospective employer pipelines.

    • Support and prepare developer graduates’ through employability support, skills development, project work and highlighting job opportunities Ensure developer graduates’ profiles are complete and ready to present to hiring companies
    • Offer developer graduates support in order to increase possibility of entry into the workplace
    • You will need to stay closely up-to-date with industry trends and the job market needs to ensure that we stay one step ahead. To excel in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be a fast learner, and have an eye for detail. You will need to have people skills and the enthusiasm and capacity to upskill as the team scales. You should also be able to collaborate effectively with others and have a genuine interest in education within the EdTech space.
    • The Career Services & Corporate Relations Specialist will also be working closely with the marketing team to coordinate and report on the effectiveness of top-of-the-funnel lead generation campaigns in order to better target and expand awareness of our graduates, our company brand and the product development of the HyperionDev Careers platform. Examples include letters from employers that approve and endorse HyperionDev; success story videos of graduates employed and their companies, graduate presentations at events and graduate endorsements of HyperionDev Bootcamps). You will also need to develop, facilitate, coordinate and host various employer skills development, awareness and employability courses/webinars/events.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in securing job opportunities for current and expected/future graduates by growing the employer partner company database
    • Engage and develop relationships with prospective hiring companies through continuous market research and lead generation nationally and internationally
    • Be able to discuss our developer graduates’ and Bootcamp value proposition with different employer partner companies
    • Ensure employer partner pipelines grow and remain relevant through regular contact
    • Understanding the needs and requirements of hiring companies based on knowledge of the technical recruitment industry
    • Understanding hiring partners’ recruitment cycles and update the pipeline on the CRM
    • Support and prepare developer graduates for skills development and job opportunities
    • Ensure developer graduates’ profiles are complete and ready to present to hiring companies
    • Actively engage with developer graduates to ensure technical portfolios, resumes and social media profiles are of high quality and meet our standards
    • Engage with developer graduates to arrange interviews, assessments and feedback
    • Ensuring the CRM is continuously updated and accurate with developer graduates’ information as well as continuously updating the CRM tool at each step of the grad recruitment process
    • Offer developer graduates support in order to increase possibility of entry into the workplace
    • Constant communication with developer graduates to ensure their information is represented correctly and that they are prepared and willing to join each role that they are interviewed for
    • Communicate growth opportunities and remuneration structures to each dev partner as well as facilitate the information flow of the requirements of each employer partner company
    • Ensure developer graduates are ready for interviews, prepared as well as informed to ensure a seamless selection and recruitment process and excellent hiring company experience
    • Provide feedback and updates to developer grads on a continuous basis
    • Support and drive effective marketing initiatives for our graduates, provide feedback on lead quality and engagement ratio, and assist with the market segmentation and targeting strategy by providing feedback on most likely to convert hiring company profiles.
    • Development, facilitation, coordination and hosting of skills development, awareness and employability courses/webinars/events.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, salaries, job opportunities, competitors

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum:

    • At least 2 years of experience in assisting candidates to secure roles in tech /IT
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Outstanding reporting skills
    • Ability to problem solve and relationship building
    • Experience working with an ATS or CRM system
    • A positive, problem-solving attitude
    • An interest in gaining experience and advancing the future of coding education, assessments, and tooling, and in the EdTech space
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and build collaborative work relationships
    • Comfortable with using technology, and familiarity with Google Suite
    • Good presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise work appropriately
    • Stable internet connection
    • Your own laptop

    Preferred:

    • At least 2 years of experience in assisting graduates of coding bootcamps to secure roles in tech/IT
    • HR Management related qualification
    • Business Account management & employer partner acquisition experience
    • Graduate recruitment management or coordination experience
    • Experience with software development hiring & education processes
    • Prior tech startup experience in a high-growth and ambitious environment
    • At least 2 year of’ experience in a customer-facing role for a tech business
    • Interest in recent pedagogical advances in computing and online education
    • Interest and experience in the coding education and ed-tech space
