Minimum Requirements

• A qualification at NQF 7 level, as recognised by SAQA;
• 5 years’ experience at senior managerial level.

• Strategic Management at a senior management level;
• Provide management and support services to local government within the regulatory framework including the development of Local Government legislation;
• Municipal governance;
• Formal and informal interventions as well as investigations in terms of the Municipal Systems Act and Western Cape Monitoring and Support of Municipalities Act;
• Monitoring and evaluation municipal performance in line with the legislative requirements; 
• Facilitating and monitoring infrastructure development within municipalities to ensure sustainable municipal infrastructure;
• Capacitating municipalities by providing support and capacity building initiatives; and
• People and Financial Management.
