Chief Safety Officer at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Chief Safety Officer to join their mining company in Limpopo. You will be responsible for leading the safety function to ensure compliance, manage risks and promote a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and standards.
• Implement and monitor safety systems, policies and procedures.
• Conduct incident investigations, audits and inspections.
• Analyse safety performance and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and support to management and teams on safety matters.
• Lead and manage safety personnel within the area of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 7 - 10 years' conventional mining and hard rock underground experience with minimum 3 years' as a Chief Safety Officer
• National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management
• Blasting Certificate for Scheduled/Underground Mines
• COMSOC/SAMTRAC Certificate
• MHSA Knowledge
• Valid Driver's License
