Clinical Nurse Consultant - Consultation Liaison at Queensland Health

About The Role

This position is part of the specialist Consultant Liaison Psychiatry Team, that will provide consultation/liaison and clinical services to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Bayside, Logan and QEII hospital campuses. The position is a Specialist Mental Health Nursing role who provides, consultation to patients referred by the Medical and Surgical inpatient services and Liaison to medical teams to assist Nursing work force in providing Nursing care to Patients suffering from Mental health disorders.

• Maintain high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to inform and train the healthcare team of clinical practice updates and research findings within Consultation Liaison Psychiatry area.
• Utilise advanced clinical skills and expertise to support nurses in patient care planning, delivery and education.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in the provision of contemporary nursing practice.
