Consolidation of all input required and submission of commercial tender returns.
Consolidation of input from various areas of the business in contracts, participate in negotiation and finalisation of contracts with customers and suppliers (within appropriate levels of competency) .
Ad hoc assistance on general commercial related issues in customer relationships/projects.
Assist and support the Commercial and Contracts Specialist where required.
Assist in presenting a competitive proposal and subsequently assist in delivering of same, in line with internal company requirements, company policies and values.
Assist in managing the tender preparation process to ensure tender deadlines are met.
Assist all areas of the Barloworld Power business where required in general commercial matters during contract delivery.
Maintaining and building appropriate business and business unit relationships.
Responsible for compliance the Sales/Project Risk Framework (SRF/PRF) (Power), including therefore all referenced policy and authorisations required.
Correctly identifying input required in contracts to formulate a complete contract tender/negotiation submission.
Managing the return of the above information for consolidation in the return.
Ensuring completion of core requirements for timely submission of tenders, quotes or other return requirements.
Assist in conclusion and final contracting with the customer.
Assist in presenting a competitive proposal and subsequently assist in delivering of same, in line with internal company requirements, company policies and values.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
General Commercial qualifications with experience in contracting and tendering
3 Years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
Ability to use commerce and commercial risk principles and concepts to the benefit of the business to reach commercial business objectives.
General understanding of commercial related risk.
Identifying specialist input required to finalise contract drafts and tender returns.
Apply previous learnings to matters arising.
Planning and organisational skills.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written);
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team, under pressure.
