The successful incumbent must have overseen the efficient administration and compliance of a company and have a good understanding of the Companies Act. If you are looking for a new, challenging opportunity, this could be the one for you.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the board any failures by the company or its directors relating to compliance with the Act, the MOI or rules of the company
• Assistance with the production of the annual report and filing of the Annual Return with CIPC.
• Certifying in the Company’s Annual Financial Statement whether the company has filed required returns and notice in terms of the Act, and whether all such returns and notices appear to be true, correct and up to date.
• Maintaining the safe custody of the company’s MOI, incorporation documents and all agreements.
• Carrying out the functions of a person designated in terms of Section 33(3) of the Act

Requirements:

• Relevant Financial qualification
• Strong understanding of the Companies Act
• This is an Employment Equity opportunity
