Compliance Analyst - Remote at TransUnion

What You'll Bring:

• Perform regular Compliance Monitoring activities across the UK business (including testing, documenting and reporting), in accordance with the approved annual TU UK Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP).
• Track and support the completion of agreed compliance remediation actions from issues arising from compliance oversight work.
• Support the preparation, maintenance and execution of the CMP monitoring activities via delivery and completion of allocated Plan work.
• Provide guidance to business stakeholders in the improvement of operational documents, processes and procedures where improvements are identified to remediate monitoring issues identified to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation that records compliance monitoring activity work (including sample testing approach, sampled testing results, and conclusions and remedial actions needed).
• Represent the Compliance function across the business through all interactions arising from CMP compliance monitoring work, and assisting with other ad-hoc activities and requests from the Head of Compliance as they arise.
• Work proactively when needed with other second and third line teams to ensure that key compliance risks are known, understood and subject to appropriate compliance oversight as needed.
• Perform regular oversight of TransUnion mandatory internal compliance training completion by Associates.
• Identify opportunities to innovate and develop compliance monitoring methods/systems

Impact You'll Make:

• 3 - 5 years' Experience of operating within a Compliance or similar assurance function of a regulated Financial Services firm.
• Methodical, thorough and diligent, with strong attention to detail and strong documentation and report writing and presentation skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to be able to manage completion of multiple compliance monitoring tasks by set deadlines. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, both orally and in writing.
• Passion for delivering a high-quality service to customers/stakeholders and quality outputs.
• Passion for keeping up-to-date with emerging regulation.
• Ability to use standard Microsoft products to a high standard, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detailed knowledge of Compliance-related and Risk & Control Frameworks. Preferred
• A detailed working knowledge of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulation.
• High-level knowledge of compliance monitoring methodology and investigative/audit techniques.
• IT audit/assurance skills/experience.
• Knowledge of data management environments to be able to make critical observations and drive continual improvement.
• Good understanding of data protection regulation regimes, such as UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
