Cooks & Kitchen Hands at IPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and provision of nutritious and varied meals
• Cutting, cooking and plating food for delivery
• Assist in the control of stores and provisions
• Maintain a hygienic, safe and secure working environment, including cleanliness of work areas and kitchen equipment

Mandatory requirements:

• A minimum of 12 months of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Knife Skills - minimum 12 months *MANDATORY
• A working with children blue card *MANDATORY (applicants without this will not be considered for the role)
• Able to pass a Clear Criminal History check *MANDATORY
• Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting
• A current "C" Class Driver's license
• High knowledge of Workplace and Safety Awareness
• Cooks - Cert 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery + Food Safety Certificate
