Cost Controller at Babylonstoren

Requirements

• A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12) and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing.
• At least 3 - 4 years’ experience in costing with retail concern.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.

Responsibilities

• Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance – compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.
• Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
• Update BOMs as necessary.
• Assist with stock counts.
• Load cost estimates/quotes.
• Assist with recons/schedules.
• Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
• Maintain inventory and products.
• Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
