Creative Multimedia Designer (Video and Digital Specialist) at Flight Centre Travel Group

About the role

• Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for a Senior Creative Multimedia Designer (Video & Digital Specialist) to join our Global Creative Services team. This is a specialist creative role with a strong focus on video, motion design, and multimedia storytelling, supporting our global corporate brands across the corporate travel industry.
• While the role is based in South Africa, you’ll collaborate with a globally connected creative and marketing network, delivering high-impact content for regional and global campaigns across multiple international markets.

What you’ll be doing

Video & Motion (Primary Focus)

• Produce high-quality video content from concept and storyboard through to final edit
• Create 2D animation and motion graphics for campaigns, social media, events, explainers, and brand communications
• Edit a wide range of formats including short-form social, long-form interviews, brand films, executive messaging, testimonials, and event footage
• Develop scalable video templates and motion systems for global use
• Leverage modern creative tools, including GenAI-assisted workflows, to enhance efficiency and creative output

Digital & Multimedia Design

• Design digital and multimedia assets for campaigns, social platforms, email, events, presentations, reports, and infographics
• Ensure all digital outputs meet platform best practice, accessibility standards, and performance requirements
• Explore innovative digital formats and AI-supported tools to improve speed-to-market and creative impact

Creative Delivery & Collaboration

• Interpret briefs for regional and global initiatives, delivering visually strong, on-brand creative solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and deadlines
• Maintain organised files, asset libraries, and reusable templates to support global scalability
• Stay ahead of creative trends, emerging technologies, and motion techniques to continuously elevate output

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualification in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
• 8+ years’ experience in video, motion, and multimedia design (brand, corporate, or agency experience preferred)
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Exposure to AI-assisted creative tools is advantageous
• A strong portfolio showcasing video, motion graphics, animation, and digital-first design
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently
