Data Controller – REF: JW392EX/2024 at Johannesburg Water

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately capture the first phase of the cored data that comes through the SAP system (Plant Maintenance) and route/assign work orders to the responsible Foreman/ Operations Manager. Rectify data errors on the SAP System to enable Depots to complete the transaction and to improve quality. Assist with walk-in and call-in customers to create Work Orders.
• Assist Artisan when Foreman is not available to assign Work Orders. Keep Depot staff (Ops Manager/Foreman) informed on data-related matters. Highlight captured errors to Depot staff and assist them in rectifying errors. Interact with relevant Departments on prepayment-related data. Program CIU and Prepayment meters for new users, new developments, and replacement of lost or corrupted CIU.
• Liaise with the database administrator regarding capturing of customers’ information on the Prepayment database. Filing of correspondence daily. Relieve Switchboard/Receptionist as and when required. Assist the Team Leader with Customer Care and Programming as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12/N3 (NQF4)
• 3 years experience in Data Capturing
• Experience in SAP
