Depot Manager at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• Relevant B Degree in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
• 8 years or more relevant experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Proven supervisory skills
• A valid driver's licence

Key Performance Areas

• Depot and Worksite Management: Co-ordinate tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures, including monitoring and reporting
• Resource Planning and Control: Plan, prioritise and schedule Project, Maintenance and Refurbishment work for the Portfolio
• Monitor and evaluate progress with regards to repair, construction, installation and maintenance type work for the Portfolio
• Financial Management: Develop and manage comprehensive budgets aligned with the Departments goals and objectives
• Supervision and Control: Co-ordinate and control tasks/activities associated with controlling Personnel Performance and productivity
• Tender and Contract Management: Management and administration of contracts, tenders and Service Level
•  Agreements, including performing BSC and BEC functions
• Perform specific administrative tasks/activities associated with the updating and maintaining recordsIinformation related to the activities/operations, including Project and Refurbishment work within the Portfolio
• Assume responsibility for the management of all immovable and movable assets within area of control of the Portfolio.
