Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

• Red Seal Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Mechanic qualification
• Minimum three to five years’ experience in maintenance of Trackless Mining Machines (TMMs).
• Experience in basic electrical and basic air conditioning
• Valid SA Code 14 (EC) driver’s license, or willing to acquire a Code 14 license
• Capable to work independently and under pressure
• Valid drivers’ license
• Willing to work overtime when required (including Saturdays and Public Holidays).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement the planned maintenance program for the trackless fleet / plant maintenance
• Identifying and ordering required parts
• Conducting risk assessments and inspections
• Planning and scheduling maintenance work.
• To maintain the operational accuracy of the plant equipment
• Hydraulics service & repair
• Job card and vehicle checklists
• General housekeeping
