    Maintenance Specialist (Afrimat Iron Ore – Demaneng Mine)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

    • School Grade: Matric / Technical Matric
    • Qualifications: Relevant Artisan Trade Certificate
    • Driver’s License: Yes – Valid driver’s license
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience with maintenance planning on trackless mobile machinery.
    • Well versed in a variety of computerized maintenance systems

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implementation of the planned maintenance program for the TMM fleet.
    • Identifying and ordering of required parts
    • Conducting risk assessments and inspections
    • Planning and scheduling maintenance work
    • To maintain operational accuracy of equipment

    Regional SHE Manager (Afrimat Iron Ore)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Have a relevant Diploma/ Degree
    • At least 5 - 7 years relevant experience
    • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation which includes, but not limited to, The M.H.S.A., O.H.S.A., C.O.I.D. and the explosives Act.
    • SAMTRAC
    • Sound knowledge of the Iron Ore mining industry
    • Write, understand, and communicate in English
    • Microsoft package skills i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license
    • Willing to travel for work purposes.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Compile/Review and implement all Codes Of Practice (COP’s)
    • Implement Management Systems
    • Prepare for Audits and implement Audit Findings
    • Assist in implementing Policies and Procedures
    • Conduct audits on External Suppliers and report findings
    • Identify high Risk Areas and implement processes to reduce the risks.
    • Provide Safety Training for all staff
    • Provide information in internal S.H.E. audits
    • Participate & promote S.H.E. initiatives
    • Responsible for analysis of daily, weekly and monthly S.H.E. statistics

    • Matric is essential
    • Qualification in Secretarial and Administration will be highly advantageous

    Diesel Mechanic (Afrimat Iron Ore)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

    • Red Seal Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Mechanic qualification
    • Minimum three to five years’ experience in maintenance of Trackless Mining Machines (TMMs).
    • Experience in basic electrical and basic air conditioning
    • Valid SA Code 14 (EC) driver’s license, or willing to acquire a Code 14 license
    • Capable to work independently and under pressure
    • Valid drivers’ license
    • Willing to work overtime when required (including Saturdays and Public Holidays).

    Creditors Clerk (SA Block)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Further financial training will be advantageous
    • 1-2 years’ experience in creditors administration
    • Have knowledge and experience with ERP software (Preferably Accpac)
    • Write, understand, and communicate in English.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Must be prepared to work after hours when needed
    • Will be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

    Control Room Supervisor X3 (Afrimat Nkomati Anthracite, Opencast)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Competent A certificate
    • Minimum of 7 years' demonstrated experience with responsibility for managing duties at an Opencast Mining on a site >300 k BCM/month
    • Legal Liability certificate
    • Blasting certificate or trade test
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Valid First Aid certificate
    • Previous Control/ Dispatch Room experience will be advantageous
    • Must have ability to do planning, lead, organize, control, and follow up
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • Ability to respond and solve operational concerns
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Computer literacy (MS + Online Cloud Based Information System)
    • Candidates must be medically fit to perform duties (Determined by Occupational Medical Practitioner)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise and direct the work of production staff
    • Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Conduct a proper Safe declaration of the pit when required
    • Ensure timeous start up and end of shift shut down
    • Monitor production processes and quality control
    • Maintain production records and prepare shift reports
    • Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot production and safety issues
    • Communicate with other shift supervisors and plant management to coordinate production activities
    • Train and develop production staff
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with management to implement changes
    • Must be prepared to work shifts
    • Any other relevant Adhoc work as instructed by line supervision
